Thanos' menace has passed and now this world belongs to the Earth's Mightiest Heroes.
The Avengers are working much more closely to S.H.I.E.L.D. due to the most recent events and it seems like this could mark a brand new era for the world. However, a new threat is willing to challenge the team for the control of earth.
This is one of the principal titles from the All-New Marvel Now campaign and while good, it's not that different from what we were getting from Jonathan Hickman in the main title. Hickman along with Nick Spencer continue to the same direction that was previously established but this time is more character-based instead of plot-based. Spencer helps to bring a more natural flow to the dialogue and fortunately they gave the focus to some of the lesser known members from the team.
Then again, this was something that they have been doing for a while and it doesn't give the book a distinctive tone or route, I hope they solve this in the future.
Stefano Caselli delivers really appealing and detailed artwork that helps sell the story much better. I have no complaints on that front.
Solid issue as I said but it needs to get its own voice.
