Some thoughts about Batwoman #27

Batwoman's life has certainly been hard.

Thanks to the toxin of the Wolf Spider, Kate is reminiscing all of her most painful moments or those that just exists on her head.

First of all, this was a kinda fast read but certainly a good one. Marc Andreyko focuses on all the most personal moments in Kate's life including her sister Alice, her father and her time on the army, all of those segments are well displayed and the dialogue from all the characters is pretty good too. Still, I can't help but feeling that this could contain a bit more story.

Now, why was this such a fast read? Well, because it not only had the excellent pencils of Jeremy Haun but also the wonderful work of Francis Manapul who was able to capture the hallucinations perfectly while Haun worked on the character moments. Overall, the art made this issue worthy.

Nice issue, a bit decompressed but a nice one still.
