The mischievous words of Strife caused Zola to start considering herself as a burden and run away from Diana. However, this could result to be much more dangerous for her since the Gods rarely forget their mission.
I'm actually surprised about how much this issue progresses the plot in comparison to the previous ones. Brian Azzarello is developing the story in a much faster manner and the plot-points that he has been introducing since the beginning of this arc are finally coming to fruition.
The character work is still one of the highlights of this book of course. Diana, Hermes, Hera and Zola are developing quite satisfactorily due to the most recent events and is a nice contrast to compare their initial personalities to their current ones.
I have enjoyed the job of every artist that has worked on this series but i have to say that my favorite is still Cliff Chianf, he set the style for this title and no one does it better than him. Wonderfully expressive and beautiful while also delivering great moments, I missed him.
Great, great issue. Hope that Azzarello continues this kind of pace.
