Some thoughts about Green Lantern: New Guardians #27

Fighting against an alien civilization, just another day in the life of Kyle Rayner.

Exeter, the keeper of the anomaly that was holding Relic, is back and he will need the help of both Kyle and Carol if they want to defeat a threat that is dangerously affecting his race.

Another creative and engagin issue created by Justin Jordan. This time the writer focuses on Exeter, the character he created at the beginning of his run to emphasize Kyle's new mission as protector of the universe by protecting a whole race from a really personal menace and of course, finding a different solution besides just beating the hell out of the villain. All delivered in this dense stand-alone story.

Unfortunately, Brad Walker couldn't draw this issue so he's replaced by Andrei Bressan whose work is merely serviceable but thankfully is able to produce a lot of content.

Pretty satisfactory one-and-done issue. More like this please.
