The Second Semester continues.
Olive is trying to get used to her new roommate and is sadly ignoring some of her old friends, including Maps who will quickly get into trouble.
So far, so good.
Becky Cloonan, Brenden Fletcher and Karl Kerschl offer a new chapter where they focus on several members of the cast as well as a new mystery for them. The character work is subtle and solid by developing more of the new status quo and how that affects everyone, particularly Olive and Maps whose relationship is starting to get in trouble thanks to Olive's new roomate.
The rest of the cast also receive their own interesting and fun scenes. All of this brings us to the current case that once again plays with the supernatural in the form of wizardry and how is connected to the academy.
Adam Archer continues to handle the pencils and I'm glad to say that he continues to improve with much better looking characters and an overall more polished style that looks even more similar to Kerschl's.
Quite enjoyable, glad to have this kind of book.
