Is Cyborg really losing his humanity?
Kilg%re has just appeared and is decided to test Victor's connection to his people in ways that he's not anticipating.
I believe this worked solidly for the most part.
John Semper Jr. offers a new installment where he focuses on the battle between Victor and Kilg%re and how is connected to Vic's current situation. The characterization is once again pretty on-point with the parallels between protagonist and antagonist being constantly referenced while testing Vic's own persona and how strong he feels about his own humanity.
Plus, there's a lot of content in this issue. For a chapter mostly devoted to character work there's more story than one would expect thanks to multiple interactions the character has here and many fight scenes that also serve to his portrayal. The dialogue can be also fun at times.
Not all is perfect though since at times the narrations says more than it should and leaves very little to the imagination although it helps to provide more insight into Vic's mind.
Paul Pelletier handles the artwork and is pretty good looking with expressive characters and strong storytelling.
Enjoyable overall and the final page is interesting. Let's see how the next issue works.
