Green Arrow will have to save the people he cares the most once again.
Ollie and Dinah have found themselves in yet another problem once that they learn about a facility that is making drugs and also has Diggle on it.
"Classic white guy. Shoot first, ask questions later".
Yeah, just wanted to get that out of the way because it was by far one of the worst lines from the issue. I know that Ben Percy wants to go all out with "Social Justice Warrior" direction for Green Arrow (Which means simply following buzzwords from Twitter/Tumblr) but his racism is starting to get pretty repetitive and tiring (And yes, it IS racism no matter what your feelings against white people are).
Aside from that, this wasn't so bad. The dialogue and interactions between the characters are less forced and Percy seems to actually like the relationship between Ollie and Dinah and makes their dynamic entertaining. However, Percy of course needed to deliver a "message" at the end when Ollie was told that he ruined the people's entire facility and their lives despite that THE SAME GUY ASKED FOR HIS HELP IN THE FIRST PLACE. Plus, Ollie acts all guilty despite that the whole place was making drugs and based on his reaction, Percy apparently wants the readers to think he was also on the wrong. WTF?
Stephen Byrne returns to art duties and his semi-cartoony style is still gorgeous while creating really dynamic scenes and beautiful characters.
I feel like there's a solid story hidden here but is sadly ruined, as usual, when Percy tries to go political because he just doesn't understand how real life works.
