Both Deathstroke and Batman will have to deal with their problematic children.
Ravager has asked for Batman's help while Slade is dealing with Damian and trying to teach him a lesson. All of this might turn out to be harder than expected.
Boy, this was quite entertaining once again.
Christopher Priest doesn't actually use this chapter to go for the predictable way of putting the World's Greatest Assassin against the World's Greastest Detective (which is something you would have seen in the last volume) but instead uses it to make them both deal with their different children and that brings a lot of entertainment.
The interactions between Batman and Rose develope a lot of both characters by exploring more about her relationship with her father as well as Batman's own way to deal with his sons. At some point Bruce might sound a bit off, a bit colder than usual but I suppose is fitting considering he's talking to a hired killer.
The best part is about the interaction between Slade and Damian since both have a lot in common and show how competent and strong they can be. Both characters receive respectful portrayals and that's the best you can expect I guess.
Joe Bennett handles the artwork and is still pretty good looking thanks to his ability of capturing characters' expressions.
Definitely worth checking out, some of the most solid stories about the character in a while.
