Harley Quinn's new band is about to take over the city.
Harley has just realized that her new rival has one of her most precious possessions and once that she starts learning more about them she will find out that there are more dangerous people involved.
What else can I say? Is a Harley Quinn issue and is fun a usual.
Jimmy Palmiotti and Amanda Conner continue their little story about Harley's new punk rock lifestyle and is still as bloody and hilarious as expected. One of the things I enjoy the most about this series is that it experiments with different crazy scenarios and the writers are not afraid to use premises that would be too bizarre for other books. First we had zombies, now a battle of the bands.
And it follows the same vein as the rest of the stories from the title, about how everything is connected to other parts of the DCU in the strangest ways and the final pages teases the appearance of yet another character from the Batmythos.
John Timms and Jill Thompson share art duties with Timms handling the present time section and Thompson drawing the flashbacks are their work greatly based on their own styles despite of how different they are from each other's. Yet another proof of the experimentation here.
Entertaining chapter, excited to see that superhero/supervillain dress up party in the next one.
