Superman and Superboy will need to learn the truth behind Dinosaur Island.
Clark and Jon have just met Captain Storm and all of them will have to find a way to escape but not all of them might be able to do so.
This was just... fun.
Yeah, Peter Tomasi and Patrick Gleason brings the conclusion of this little story and they don't really focus so much on paying a tribute to Darwyn Cooke as much as delivering an entertaining issue and they're successful at it. The characterization is pretty solid with lots of compelling and charming moments between all of the members of the cast, the writers do a good job at making you invested in Storm and his fate despite of only meeting him during this chapter.
The plot itself allows for a lot of engaging action scenes that exploits the premise of Dinosaur Island to deliver a quite enjoyable adventure. Is also interesting to see that the writers are planting the seeds of upcoming storylines here while also delivering a satisfying finale for this two-part arc. Really like that kind of direction.
Doug Mahnke remains in art duties and his work is still outstanding with a great sense of style, expressive characters and strong storytelling.
Excellent issue, this book is on a roll.
