Earth 2 is gone but what is left?

The Wonders are trying to figure out what happened to their planet after they appeared in a strange dimension that looks like their old world.

As usual, Dan Abnett is trying to get the best from this situation.

I'm not kidding, since the beginning of his run, the writer has done his best to correct the mistakes from previous runs but this time he's not only limiting it to characterization but also to the mandated direction that destroyed the last Earth 2. In that sense the writer has returned some of kind of place that seems to have some similarities to their old home but is not really the same which creates interesting plot-points.

There are also some appearances of characters who are strangely similar to the classic JSA and will most likely be connected to the current situation and possibly with the new Rebirth status quo.

Bruno Redondo handles the artwork here and is absolutely gorgeous. He's one of the best pencillers who has worked here with a pretty clean and vibrant style and beautiful characters.

Solid stuff, I wish they would have delivered more content but I'm intrigued now.
