What happens to the Suicide Squad now?
General Zod has been defeated and Waller has her own plans for him. However, they're far from safe since some people inside have other agendas.
Credit where credit is due, I don't think this one was that dull.
There's the usual awkward dialogue here and there but aside from that, Rob Williams manages to create a solid first segment where he continues to develope several members of the cast including Harley as usual but Enchantress and Killer Croc's relationship actually becomes stronger, mind you, I wish Williams would have used the more interesting version of Croc that appears in the current miniseries but I still think it works. The writer also drops several hints about what he's planning to do in the future which is appreciated but I don't have much faith in the execution.
Jim Lee remains in art duties and he still does a solid job at creating attractive characters with a vibrant style.
There's a second story focusing on the new member Hack and her own background. The story itself is not that interesting and Williams' presentation can be underwhelming but once again, he drops some plot-points that will most likely be used in the future.
Stephen Byrne handle the pencils here and is the best looking part of the issue without a doubt thanks to his beautiful cartoony style.
Not so bad, not so great. Still not a must read without a doubt.
