There's no rest for the leader of the X-Men.
Cyclops is still healing from his injuries and is trying to find a way to escape from his boredom and is about to find it once that a strange creature appears.
Yes, yes, more character-centric issues but they're still well-done.
Dennis Hopeless devotes this chapter to Cyclops and how he's dealing after he broke his leg during his last mission. Is an overall fun little story that focuses on him acting like, well, a kid. It might be hard to remember that Scott Summers is also a teenager but this issue pretty much reminds us of that fact due that he tries really hard to get his friends' attention and find something fun to do. Once again, I do like how Hopeless writes kids without making them look like caricatures.
The characterization is pretty solid in that regard but the writer also demonstrates that Scott is pretty competent even with his injury while the last page shows that this is far from over.
Mark Bagley remains in art duties an is consistent as usual with a style that provides a nice range of character expressions and solid action scenes.
Enjoyable as a whole, nothing more to say.
