The Suicide Squad will have to fight against a God.
General Zod has been released from the Phantom Zone and is ready to destroy everything in his past and the team can barely do anything to stop him.
Still underwhelming I see.
Rob Williams brings a new and, as usual, short issue focusing on the "big" battle between General Zod and the Suicide Squad and quite honestly, fails to impress. Is just a big dumb fight and I say "dumb" in every sense of the world since Zod acts like a simple brute who only wants to kill everything in his past, I don't even understand what happened here since in his last appearances he was much more calculating but I guess Williams is not paying much attention to his previous portrayals.
Plus, is still a quite fast read that doesn't deliver much in basically anything.
Jim Lee handles the artwork and is starting to seem rushed with a lack of polish and poor environments.
There's once again a second story focusing on Harley Quinn and I think this works a little better since Williams explores some classic aspects of the character but again, he doesn't offer anything particularly new about her. The best part of it is Gary Frank's art since he makes the characters look like their movie incarnations with great expressions and style.
Still not worth buying or checking out. Skip.
