Some thoughts about Green Lantern #51

Hal is starting to lose himself.

The influence of Krona's Gauntlet has become to strong for him to control and might even turn him in a whole construct. However, there are bigger things to worry about since his own ship has been invaded by people who are hunting him.

Okay, this one didn't work as well as the previous one.

Robert Venditti brings a new chapter where he focuses on the ramifications of the last arc with Hal becoming a being of pure will. This is an obvious plot-point that is going to be explored further in the future and it seems interesting so far. It was good to see Hal's crew again as well as expanding their own skills and personalities, I enjoy these moments.

The problem is that there's very little plot here. Is mostly a transition issue where very little happened and while there are some decent moments here and there, it still feels like a quite fast read with just a few content. I wish we would have seen more of Parallax too.

Rafa Sandoval is in charge of the art and his work is pretty fluid with solid storytelling and character models as well as decent action.

Okay but I hope the next chapter offers more story.
