After being constantly attacked by people who want him death, Lucas will have no choice but try to protect all the people around him without knowing that danger is closer than he could have imagined.
Holy crap, this issue was AMAZING!
Steve Orlando brings a new chapter of his story where he continues immediately from where the last one ended and what follows is an issue full of intense action where Midnighter has barely any chance to rest due to being continually persecuted by mercenaries.
The character work is strong as usual with the relationship between Lucas and his boyfriend still being developed while his fighting skills are still represented in quite unique ways.
The best part however, came out at the end. The person who has been targeting Midnighter has finally revealed himself and is both logical and shocking. Let's just say that the protagonist has just met his match.
ACO returns to pencils and I was missing his work, he has an ability to showcase the main character's techniques in pretty creative manners with a quite inventive storytelling.
Easily the best installment from this series and most likely the best read from this week.
