Some thoughts about Green Lantern #38

Hal Jordan is back to earth and he's going to have to face another kind of problems.

Guy Gardner and Barry Allen are trying to make Hal go back to his senses by reminding him all his good aspects but he knows he has made mistakes and one of them is about to find him.

I really enjoy character-centric issues and this doesn't doesn't disappoint fortunately.

Robert Venditti's focuses on one of his especialties, character work. The relationship between both Hal and Guy is developed in a pretty logical way considering all that has been happening in their lives recently while Barry reacts in pretty interesting way due that the writer hints about what's currently happening in his own title. The interaction is pretty enjoyable and it showcases their personalities pretty well.

Then comes the big conversation between Hal and Carol where they talk about the past and the future. Is really well-done dynamic that makes a lot of sense all things considered.

Admira Widaja is on art duties and his work is prety beautiful with a lot of details for the characters and solid storytelling skills.

Pretty satisfying issue, can't wait to see what comes next.
