The Suicide Squad keeps screwing things up.
Amanda Waller is tired of failing on her missions despite of the lack of interference from her bosses while her own team tries to survive at any cost, things can get still worse though.
Okay, this has officially become a terrible comic.
Sean Ryan brings a pretty pointless chapter where the only thing that the Squad does is trying to keep being alive due to the stupidity of some of its members (Harley is especially badly portrayed here) and doesn't really progress the story that much. The dialogue is not really that good either.
What made me hate this chapter though is that the writer is hinting that he wants to make Waller go back to her old obese look. First of all, he also made Deadshot go back to his old look and that didn't make him a better character and second, the point of making Waller fit was to make her more apt to the kind of job she has. Is not about "eating salads" to keep having a good figure, is about having the endurance to go into missions that could kill you.
Tom Derenick is on breakdowns while several other artists do the finishes and the final work is not looking good, is pretty inconsistent at times.
Awful issue, someday the Suicide Squad will receive a good series again. Someday...
