Some thoughts about Batwoman #38

Batwoman's worl continues to become even stranger.

After succumbing to Nocturna's spell, Kate has become much more violent but that's not the only problem since Morgaine Le Fey is attacking the people of Gotham City and to stop her, Kate will have to join other terrifying beings.

Well, this series is coming to an end and it looks like the sub-plots are getting resolved finally.

Marc Andreyko continues his storyarc by focusing on Batwoman's relationship with the supernatural side of Gotham City including Ragman and Etrigan the Demon and all the characters are portrayed right fortunately.

There are some aspects that I don't like though. For example, the whole sub-plot about Kate being controlled by Nocturna is still unresolved and I wish there was a solution already. Then again, it was nice to see other characters like Alice coming back to the book.

About the art. I really like Juan Jose Ryp's work here. He has a pretty distinctive style that allows for great expressions for all the characters and gives the book a pretty interesting look.

Decent issue I would say. Let's see if the plot-points are properly concluded in the future.
