Some thoughts about Red Hood and the Outlaws #38

Crux is back but not all is what it seems.

Jason has decided he needs the help of one of his own enemies to find Starfire. However, he will be surprised to know that this is what Crux actually wanted and Kory is about to face an even bigger danger.

Well, this was a surprising turn of events.

Scott Lobdell reintroduces Crux, one of the old villains of the book, and he does it in a way that makes a lot of sense since that if I remember correctly, the original idea for the character was to become part of the team. This presents some interesting developments for the future.

The characterization continues to be spot-on thanks to Lobdell's witty and inventive dialogue that manages to reveal the kind of cast the book has.

R.B. Silva handles art duties once again and while at some points his work looks pretty good, at others it looks kinda rushed and lacking some polish.

Solid issue definitely though, really interested in this route.
