Some thoughts about Justice League United #8

Maybe it's too late for the Justice League United to act.

The Legion of Super-Heroes decided to go back to the past to stop the catastrophic future that awairs them but Byth's plan is still going in full force and the being they were trying to stop is fated to appear anyway.

Once again, this remains as a quite solid team book.

Jeff Lemire continues The Infinitus Saga with its penultimate chapter and the writer makes every scene into a full action packed spectacle where all the characters are fighting in a war that they might not even win.

It was also pretty good to see more of The Legion's background being explored and how that motivated them to try to save their own timeline.

If I had a complaint though is that the issue felt a bit too short but is nothing that ruins the read.

One of the best aspects from this issue is definitely Neil Edwards's pencils that keep getting better and better with each issue. The art in this chapter was quite bombastic and Edwards managed to make every page and doublepage spread epic. Hope that he remains as the ongoing artist of this book.

Rock solid issue as I said, can't wait to see the conclusion.
