Matt is trying to save his friend, the old Stunt-Master, to stop the person who has been impersonating him and put him in the hospital. However, there could be more about this case than Matt realizes.
Well, that was a pretty good twist admitedly.
Mark Waid concludes this two-part story based on the Stunt-Master by playing with the expectations he created in the previous chapter and delivering a completely unexpected new direction. It was pretty well-executed and it genuinely surprised me.
The pacing works really well and once that the mystery about the character in question is revealed, it makes you realize how even with his senses,.Matt still can be lied to.
Chris Samnee is on art duties and his work is as pitch-perfect as you would expect at this point with every scene being wonderfully captured and improved thanks to his style.
Satisfying issue, definitely check it out.
