Barry has been lost in the Speed Force for too long and he has decided to escape no matter what. Meanwhile, the future version of him is still abusing of his power and that could be his downfall.
Hey, this was a nice step-up over the previous issues.
Robert Venditti and Van Jensen focus on both Present and Future Barry and both segments are satisfactorily executed. The first section concentrating on The Flash who is currently lost in the Speed Force allows for some interesting exploration about the whole place and concept and how it has influenced people over the course of the years. I hope this kind of direction continues.
The second part is once again about Future Flash murdering villains but it also has pretty nice character moments for Mirror Master and the plot is actually progressing for this point.
Brett Booth comes back to art duties and makes a quite good job on action scenes which are full of energy and creativity.
Solid installment, good to know that the story is moving.
