Some thoughts about Constantine #21

Constantine needs to escape from Earth 2 no matter the cost.

John has just discovered the way to save himself from the end of the world but there's only a way to do so, John Constantine has to die.

I'm amazed about how much enjoyment I can get from an World's End tie-in.

Ray Fakwes continues to bring the strongest stories from the event by creating a pretty cool dilemma for the protagonist. John needs to make a really hard decision about his own survival and creates a pretty good conflict for the character and at the end reveals the kind of person he truly is.

I can't say more without spoiling it but let me tell you that each scene scales perfectly to the climax where the final segments become quite emotional and really satisfying.

Jeremy Haun delivers a really nice job in pencils thanks to his gothic style and expressive characters with pretty solid storytelling techniques.

Excellent issue, one of the best this week.
