Superman continues his fight against Brainiac. The Atom uses all of his resources to win. One danger is stopped but another is about to arrive.
I suppose this issue marks the conclusion of an arc and what's left is what the heroes have been trying to stop all this time.
The battle between Superman and Brainiac is well depicted aside from some blunt dialogue.
The Batman Beyond sections continue to be quite entertaining thanks to the good character work and dialogue.
The Atom especially shines in this issue, a quite competent and nice portrayal.
The end is arriving definitely based on the last page.
Art duties are shared between Patrick Zircher and Andy McDonald. The Zircher's sections drawn by Zircher are the best thanks to pretty good layouts and powerful scenes. McDonald sadly is not as good with some of his segments looking a bit unrefined.
Solid issue though. Hope that the ending delivers.
