Klarion's life as we know it is about to end.
After fighting against a quite bizarre amount of threats, Klarion has become a quite powerful mage and is able to defeat almost everything he faces no matte how strange it could become.
Yeah, I couldn't think in a good way to describe this issue considering how bad the storytelling was.
I have mentioned before that Ann Nocenti's abilities to tell a story are not really the best, her pacing and dialogue can be quite uneven and is especially obvious in this issue due that the story jumps in many panels without any logical transitions and for that reason is pretty difficult to follow the plot. Some of the ideas might be interesting but as I sadi before, the presentation is simply terrible.
The dialogue doesn't help matters either since it's quite unnatural at times. Oh and guess what? The ending is as unappealing as usual.
Trevor McCarthy and Szymon Kudranski are in charge of the art and while their work might look good (especially McCarthy's), they don't follow the script well at all which is already really unclear by itself.
Underwhelming issue, please don't try to imitate this "style".
