Everything has been building-up to this.
The algorithm that Barbara created during one of the worst moments in her life has gained its own conscience and is decided to get Batgirl's life as well as punishing every person who she thinks is a criminal.
Really, this story has developed in ways I couldn't imagine.
Cameron Stewart and Brenden Fletcher deliver the conclusion of their initial storyline with the villain who has been threatening Barbara's life all this time actually being a part of herself. I love the way how this was implemented in a way to contrast with Batgirl's dark and depressing past in comparison to the kind of tone the book has, really well developed.
The rest of the story also follows a pretty logical path which also includes the manner how Barbara defeats the algorithm. It was also nice to know all the characters from the supporting cast being included here.
It's necessary to mention that the writers are already teasing a new direction to Batgirl and at the same time creating hype for the upcoming Black Canary series which I can't wait to read.
Babs Tarr continues to handle art duties and her work is as distinctive and beautiful as usual while creating the right emotions for their respective scenes.
Quite satisfying conclusion for a successful first storyline. Good job.
