The New Suicide Squad has completely failed at its mission, but was all accord the plan?
The group is still trying to survive their current objective and the government thinks that this is good enough for them so far which is pretty unfortunate for their members.
Yeah, I don't buy it.
Sean Ryan is trying to give a justification about how chaotic and messy this direction has been but I can't help but seeing it just as damage control due to how terrible things have been going on since a few issues ago.
This storyline has been pretty pointless and I feel like the characters haven't progressed that much since the beginning. Not to mention the bad characterization which at points is pretty noticeable.
Tom Derenick is in charge of the breakdowns while Rob Hunter and Scott Hanna finish the work and the end result is still quite unrefined with pretty ugly moments.
Really disappointed about what this book has turned into. There's a new direction coming out after Convergence but since it still has Ryan on the helm I'm not expecting much about it. At least it will look nice thanks to Carlos D'Anda's art.
