Nocturna's control over Kate is about to end.
Alice is decided to make her sister come back to her senses no matter what could happen. Meanwhile, Kate is about to learn that her whole relationship with Nocturna was even worse than she could imagine.
Well, this chapter marks the conclusion of the Nocturna storyarc and boy, is she a piece of sh*t.
Marc Andreyko brings closure to that plot-point by creating an explanation for the seduction of Kate that most likely will put some people's worries to rest and is actually well-handled. The dialogue definitely brings the best from these scenes due that is quite natural.
Of course, that doesn't make Nocturna a better person due that she's still terrible. Nonetheless, the relationship between Kate and Alice is nicely developed.
Plus, this is connected to the first issue of this storyline which will continue in Batwoman Annual #2.
Georges Jeanty brings an excellent work in art duties with some really beautiful and adequate scenes for the style of the book.
Overall, this issue was quite solid. I really enjoyed it.
