Selina is about to strike back.
The different mob organizations from Gotham City are starting to develope a plan to take down Selina and her family and if she wants to win this war she will need to get her own allies as well as doing the work by herself.
The story about Selina's rise to power continues with yet another successful installment.
Genevieve Valentine brings a new chapter where she keeps exploring the different criminal heads in Gotham as well as what motivates Selina to continue with this work. All of this development is quite well-executed and offer intriguing aspects from all sides.
It was also nice to see the Penguin in all of this and the writer does a pretty competent job at portraying as a smart, terrifying and dangerous being. Plus, the ramifications of the previous issue are also being developed here.
Plus, some Catwoman fans will be happy with the last page.
Garry Brown remains on art duties and his work is quite appropriate for this kind of story thanks to the semi-realistic tone of the characters and gothic settings.
Great issue, hope this series continues to be as good after the break.
