Some thoughts about Gotham Academy #6

Olive is about to learn more about the mysteries of her mother.

Killer Croc has more information about Sybil's fate but unfortunately, Batman is against him being inside of Gotham Academy. Not all it's what it appears to be though, since Batman himself might also have some secrets to reveal.

Gotham Academy continues and presents yet another interesting chapter.

The issue opens exactly where it ended last time and the conflict between Batman and Croc goes as well as you might expect. The most interesting aspects here though, are the developments about Olive's mother Sybil, both Becky Cloonan and Brenden Fletcher continue to reveal more information about her and how that's connected to her daughter. All is fortunately well executed.

The good points don't stop there since the worldbuilding of the academy itself keeps expanding by exploring some mythos that exist inside of its walls. It's also nice to see how the whole cast has been formed at this point.

And of course, a popular character who was teased appears in the final page.

Karl Kerschl shares art duties with Migue Helen Chen with Kerschl doing the main story sections and Chen handling the flashbacks. Both styles complement each other's pretty well and the look remains consistent during the whole issue.

Pretty nice chapter, hope to see more new aspects about this series.
