Brenda and Pei are trying to survive the constant attack they have been suffering since they met while Danny will need to find a way to fight one of the most horrific creatures that he has ever faced and it's decided to destroy him in every way possible.
This series continues to deliver both in creativity and entertainment.
Kaare Andrews' script is quite strong creating a story with tons of personality that it's definitely helped by the characters he introduced in this series. I must say that I really like Brenda and the way he expresses herself, it almost sound like a parody of the spoiled girl while Pei is a good constrast due to how serious she is.
Danny is still fighting the creature that destroyed his home while more of its secrets are being unveiled and it could have a connection to Danny's past.
This issue wouldn't be as good without Andrews' own artwork. His style is immensily inventive that allows to create quite interesting action scenes that are made much better due to how the sound effects are implemented. I also enjoy the flashback segments, the way the creator draws the children is simply adorable.
Outstanding issue, one of the best from this week.
