Harley Quinn is about to what it means to be a victim of obsession.
After her burlesque show being interrupted by her usual madness, Harley ends-up being kidnapped by man who could be either a psychotic killer or just fanboy in love. Now, what should Harley do with him?
As usual, this series takes a quite different route from what you expect.
People, especially the ones who are attracted to Harley, are going to love the early scenes but they're not the main focus of the current issue since Harley will have to deal with a pretty crazy guy who is not as interesting as he would like to be.
This section is fortuately taking in a pretty comical way by Jimmy Palmiotti and Amanda Conner who create a version of the typical obsessed fan and give him a pretty humourous twist which also gives a connection to Harley. The ending is not what you would anticipate and that's awesome.
Art duties are handled by John Timms this time and his artstyle is perfect for this title. His work is both cartoony, dynamic and expressive and is able to capture greatly every comedic section.
Hilarious issue, I'm glad that we're having more of this book each month.
