Some thoughts about Avengers Undercover #9

The kids will have to save one of their teammates before even considering facing Baron Zemo.

Zemo's plan about using these young Avengers to attract the Earth's Mightiest Heroes has been successful and now the kids will have to make Bloodstone come back to his senses to try to stand a chance against the current attack.

The penultimate chapter from thsi series and Dennis Hopeless apparently want to solve every little seed that he planted over the course of his run.

The character work continues to beone of the strongest points from this series and this obvious due to the kind of interaction that the author utilizes for these heroes as well as the dialogue implemented which demonstrates perfectly the kind of relationship they have.

Plus, it's good to see that one of the plot-points about Bloodstone and Anachronism is finally resolved.

However, I feel that the author tried a bit too hard to solve other details like in the last page, that came out of nowhere. It doesn't ruin the story in the slightlest but it's still noticeable.

Timothy Green II is in charge of the artwork for this issue and his work continues to be excellent for this series with his expressive characters and detailed style.

Another satisfactory issue, hoping the best for the conclusion on the next one.
