The Suicide Squad will have to learn to work together if they want to survive.
Despite of their constant discussions and obvious feelings towards each other, this team of supervillains have no other choice but try to save every person from the group since the Russian organization they're trying to stop is much stronger than they imagined and apparently not all the members will able to survive.
Second issue from this new series based on this classic team of criminals, does it improve over the previous one?
Well, the story moves at a pretty good and exciting pace, there are a lof interesting moments here and I really enjoy how Sean Ryan is able to create really intense action sequences.
Most of the characters act the way you would expect from their usual portrayals. Deathstroke is pretty manipulative and cunning, Black Manta is quite competent and there's pretty hilarious moment between Harley Quinn and Joker's Daughter which made me smile a lot.
The problem here though, is Deadshot. He's supposed to be a psychopath with a death wish so I don't understand why he's now kind of a coward who wants to save himself by any means.
The layouts are made by Tom Derenick while Scott Hanna, Mark Irwin, Norm Rapmund and Batt finishes the artwork. In spite of the amount of pencillers, the story maintains a consistent style during the issue although I would say that I miss Jeremy Roberts already.
Better installment than the last one despite of some problems I had, nice read.
