Can a Legend be truly defeated?
Arthur has suffered a mortal wound and depends on The Others to try to save him in the middle of the battle. Meanwhile, Ya'wara will discover one of Vostok's biggest secrets, one that could save the life of the rest of the group.
Now this is what I'm talking about! This is the kind of satisfying conclusion that I was hoping for in an Aquaman title.
Dan Jurgens has brought a story where he not only continues to expand the world of The Others but he also brings some concepts back (if you have read the issue you know what I'm talking about).
The writer presents a competent ending for the current arc where he develops each member from the cast in a pretty solid way by being faithful to their old portrayals while also guiding them to their most logical place.
Legend as a villain is a bit goofy with his expository dialogue but he serves his purpose as believable threat and makes the worldbuilding of this title possible.
The character who returned is someone who certainly present interesting possibilities for the future based on what happened here, including a compelling dilemma that it presents.
Lan Medina continues to deliver a quite good job in pencils to his ability to depict expressions and follow the story perfectly.
Fantastic conclusion for this storyline, I just wish the other book would follow this example.
