Traveling through time, John is decided to attack the Cult of the Cold Flame one for all and to achieve such mission he will have to use all the people he met during the course of his journey and meet one of the strongest magicians from all time. This could also be his end.
Holy crap, this story was packed with content and action!
Ray Fawkes continues his ongoing story by making John survive in a way that actually accomplishes his objectives and utilizes all the plot-points that author has been introducing over the course of several issues. I love this kind of long-term planning.
The worldbuilding continues to be pretty effective since the writer explores more of the different aspects from the magical side of the DCU in other settings and concludes this chapter in a way that it makes the connection to Futures End much more logical.
Edgar Salazar is once again handling the artwork and his style depict all the scenes perfectly thanks to really refined storytelling techniques and expressive models.
What a wonderful issue, this is the best series you're not reading people!
