Some thoughts about Batgirl #34

The final battle for the fate of Gotham City is upon us.

Knightfall is creating chaos around the city and Batgirl knows that she can't keep allowing that so along with Black Canary and Huntress, she will try to stop all the mayhem the best way she can.

This is the final issue from the storyline and Gail Simone's run in Batgirl before Futures End Month, does it succeeds?

Let's talk about the positives first, the action is pretty good and the story has a pretty exciting feel, it makes you believe that the stakes are pretty high and the characters act accordingly to that.

There are pretty good and charming moments over the course of the chapter and I really enjoyed the interaction between Barbara, Dinah and Helena as well as the different cameos from the heroes of the DCU.

Plus, The Movement appeared, that was nice. Just like the appearance of another character that Simone herself created.

However, I have some problems about this story ended, it seemed way too convenient and easy at times which makes for a kinda unsatisfactory conclusion.

Fernando Pasarin continues in pencils and while his work can be expressive and beautiful his style seems a bit deformed in some places. Not a deficient work though.

Overall is still a solid ending I suppose, not really bad.
