Superman could be able to go back to his old self, but what does that mean for the rest of the world?
The Justice League continue to do their best to make Clark return to his sense and they will even need the help from some of his old enemies and allies to reach to him which could turn to be something even more dangerous than they expected.
This is the fourth chapter from the "Last Sun" miniarc inside the "Doomed" event and it actually makes me understand Superman/Wonder Woman Annual #1 better.
While the other Annual focused on Diana's perspective of the events, this one concentrates on Clark's and rightfully so. Greg Pak does a pretty good job at portraying every character who appears here correctly and he not only manages to bring some of his own creations he developed in the main Action Comics series but also some from the Batman/Superman title.
It doesn't end at that though since Pak continues to progress the story from the main series as well as the one from the "Doomed" crossover by including different sub-plots he has been leaving in the past including one he created at the beginning of his run.
Art duties are shared by Ken Lashley, Aaron Kuder, Jack Herbert, Cliff Richards, Juilus Gopez, Will Conrad and Pascal Alixe, that's a lot isn't it? Fortunately their styles remain consistent during the issue but still, Kuder's work was definitely the strongest.
Overall, a compelling chapter from this crossover. Now onto Action Comics #34!
