Some thoughts about Harley Quinn #9

Harley will have to put her life in the right path.

Harley is pretty sad after Ivy left and she's decided to get rid of her frustration in the best way she knows: Helping people and hurting others.

Classic Harley Quinn stuff and is enjoyable as usual.

Jimmy Palmiotti and Amanda Conner play with the consequences of the last issue with Harley trying to deal with Ivy's departure which opens with the expected dream/hallucination sequence where the writers can play with insane events that can't happen in the real settings. It's all in good fun but is also connected to the current predicament Harley faces.

The story takes places in different settings as well including Harley spending time with her friends, receiving some therapy, releasing some frustration in the roller derby and defending people from criminals. There's a lot of content in this chapter while the creators manage to depict Harley's relationships with her loved ones perfectly as well delivering some nice and emotional moments.

The artists deserve a lot of credit as well. Brandon Peterson handles most of the issue, his work has a pretty kinetic feel during both dream and real scenes while Michael Kaluta offers a pretty creative take on the dream section with really experimental storytelling.

Solid issue and one of the most satisfying ones recently.
