Some thoughts about The Flash #12

The Flash will have to escape from the darkness.

Both Barry and Wally have been trying to save Iris from The Shade's realm but its influence is too strong and to save themselves they will have to trust each other.

This... this might have been the best issue so far.

Joshua Williamson concludes his story about the encounter with The Shade in a pretty satisfying by bringing resolution to many plot-points and beginning new ones. The character work is pretty good with a lot of development between Barry and Wally and how they partnership can progress from now on. Williamson does a pretty charming and compelling way to showcase these moments.

This chapter seems like it was done especially for Flash fans since it has several scenes dedicated to make them smile including one that many have been clamoring concerning Barry's romantic relationship. It was cool to see The Shade having a happy ending as well.

Davide Gianfelice handles the artwork and is pretty appropriate for the story since he can depict the speed and darkness segments perfectly and make them work together nicely.

Definitely one of the winners so far, excited to see where this goes.
