Gene Luen Yang continues his story about the development of China in the DCU by exploring more about the different developments that occur inside of that nation. The Freedom Fighters prove to be an interesting concept that offer a compelling political theme that explores both sides of the situation and how an ideology can become bad despite of its initial good intentions.
I have a few problems about how the Great Ten are so quick to go against the protagonists but aside from that I don't have many complaints. The character work is consistent and there are some charming and emotional scenes between the members of the cast.
Viktor Bogdanovic continues to handle the pencils and I'm amazed about he's able to deliver amazing work each month full of beautiful characters and strong storytelling.
Satisfying read overall, hope it continues this way.
