Some thoughts about Mother Panic #2

Gotham's new vigilante is starting to get famous.

Violet is still investigating the mystery around the city and that's starting to get the attention of the most important people inside of it, for better or worse.

This series continues and while is still progressing slowly but there are enough things to like to compensate for it.

For starters, Jody Houser is developing the character of Violet in a competent manner by showing different aspects of her like her background, what happened during her past, her motivations, friends and tastes, character-wise is really well-done and makes you invested into her quite quickly.

The superheroic aspects are well-executed as well despite of how short they are by showing the contrast between her the usual Gotham vigilantes. The mystery itself is not progressing at a fast pace but it still leaves enough hints to explore about where is going.

Tommy Lee Edwards remains in art duties and his work is still really appropriate for the tone of the title while showing a lot of detail during the different scenes.

Solid but I hope we see more plot progression in the next one.
