Some thoughts about Batgirl #6

Batgirl is about to get back home but it won't be that easy.

After her little journey, Barbara is ready to return to Burnside but the unexpected appearance of Poison Ivy on her plane might complicate things much more.

This was a fun chapter at the very least.

Hope Larson continues her run this time by basically creating an one-and-done tale that serves as a transition between the last storyline and the next. The premise is interesting and logical while the plane setting allows for a solid plot where the risks are a bit higher.

Plus, the character work is still enjoyable. Barbara is well-portrayed but Poison Ivy also receives a compelling and faithful characterization that strangely connects her to her last encounter with Harley Quinn on her own title.

Rafael Albuquerque remains in art duties and his work is still quite distinctive with strong character expressions and storytelling.

One of the most enjoyable issues overall, hope this is a sign of improvement.
