Some thoughts about The Wild Storm #19

Something terrible is about to happen.

The Doctor has just figured out what the Daemons actually want and all of this connected to multiple people with their own goals in mind.

Did you forget this series exist? If so I can't blame you.

There was a pretty long hiatus which was especially bad because this book already had a pretty erratic release schedule and there were chapters where very little happened. That being said, I'm glad this book is back and Warren Ellis continues to bring pretty interesting concepts concerning this universe, there are huge revelations about the nature of the Daemons and all of this is related to all the people we have met during the course of this story. It seems like all is coming together finally.

There are also a few sub-plots being developed like the inevitable beginning of Stormwatch and possibly The Authority, the appearance of what seems to be Apollo and Midnighter (the former seems to have more personality than before which is appreciated) and even more background about the history of this world.

Jon Davis-Hunt's art is still impressive thanks to his widescreen style, full of great details and strong storytelling.

Good read, please be more frequent now.
