Why is Constantine here?
Batman and Catwoman are finally together but John believes there's more than meets the eye about this wonderful life.
Okay, now is clear where this is going.
Tom King offers a new installment where he puts everything that happened during the last couple ones in new context. It seems like Batman is suffering from some sort of hallucination that is making him see bizarre events that doesn't make sense at all which explains why Master Bruce was able to trick his guards so easily and why Damian ended-up fighting Bruce in the last one. In fact, this issue by itself is not so bad since it does present a few emotional moments.
The thing is that while this puts the last couple of chapters in a new context, it doesn't really make them good. The last few issues were really lacking in content and seemed weird for the sake of being weird and without the proper explanation for it, they just seem like a pretentious experiment and are not connected in a cohesive way. King might have as well told one-and-done stories and leave it at that.
Mikel Janin's artwork is really good as always with beautiful characters and strong storytelling.
Not bad at least, but not satisfying either.
