How will Sideways deal with this problem?
Derek has been captured by people who want the power of the Multiverse and to escape he will have to risk his life.
This was a decent enough issue all right.
Dan Didio offers a new installment where he plays with the ramifications of the last one concerning Derek figuring out who murdered his mother and why. The chapter is fragmented in a way that it's not that appropriate but it still offers a nice transition between the past and present and progresses the plot in a adequate way.
The best parts are the little moments like when the Detective who has been investigating this case easily figures out Derek's secret identity which is a nice way to get rid of certain cliches, not to mention that the death of Derek's mom forces both him and his adopted father to get closer which is something I wasn't expecting considering the lack of importance the latter had until now, all of this leads to a nice surprise towards the end.
Shane Davis, Keneth Rocafort and Michelle Delecki share the pencils and as you might expect, that doesn't make the read flow that well, their work is not bad per separate but the different styles makes the transitions a bit jarring.
Still, an okay read. Hope the next one is better.
