Some thoughts about The Terrifics #11

Can The Terrifics handle normal life?

The team has been disbanded and now each one of them will have to go back to who they were but this might be harder than expected.

Once again, this was another compelling issue.

Jeff Lemire delivers a new installment where he developes the ramifications of the last one with each member of the cast taking their own paths. The best part of this is how Lemire explores their different lives and how complex their situations actually are. Phantom Girl doesn't want to be part of the royalty in her planet, Plastic Man has been away from his family for too long to return and Metamorpho has gotten too used to being the Elemental Man to be a normal man again. Each of these cases shows great character work.

The plot doesn't progress too much because the issue is mostly centered around characterization but still, the main threat the team is supposed to face has finally surfaced and that allows for quite a few fun Multiverse scenarios.

Viktor Bogdanovic's artwork is simply fantastic, his beautiful style gets the best of every scene and even elevates them to new levels.

Great read, can't wait for the next one.
