The curse can't be stopped.
During their journey, Annie and Joe will meet a mysterious man named John Constantine who might lead them into their next destination.
An Annual has fortunately arrived and is pretty satisfying.
Justin Jordan brings an oversized story focusing on the encounter of the protagonists with Constantine and this immediately offers many entertaining moments. Constantine brings a lot of personality into the story, Jordan handles him pretty well and he definitely has tons of fun writing him. The interactions between all the characters is really enjoyable and makes me wish John had a bigger presence in the book.
The plot itself is the usual "monster of the week" thing we have seen in this book but is still interesting because it continues to explore how terrible the curse is and how doomed both Annie and Joe actually are.
Mike Perkins handles the art and his overly dark style is pretty appropriate for the title despite that some segments are difficult to read.
There's a second feature revealing the story about Detritus and is once again, quite compelling due that it explores how desperate that situation that he and other people suffer which forces them to make a deal with the Salesman. Neil Edwards' artwork is pretty detailed and clear.
Solid, content packed read. Really loving this title.
