Some thoughts about Batman and Robin #36

Batman will need to fight against one of the worst hells imaginable to find his son.

Red Robin, Batgirl and Red Hood have decided to help Bruce in his mission despite of how desperate and dangerous it could be and it's about to get worse once that they find the ruler of Apokolips.

Robin Rises continues and I feel like the execution continues to be uneven.

Peter Tomasi is able to bring good moments of characterization as well as interesting dynamics between the members from the cast while also presenting an action packed story.

The problem is that his dialogue can be pretty cliche and predictable at times. Lines like "be gloriously unconscious" are pretty silly for Bruce to say and of course, the obvious "I'm Batman", I think we should get over that one already.

Patrick Gleason is again on art duties and his work continues to be the strongest point of this story thanks to his creatively creepy style and bombastic scenes.

I still consider it a decent issue but it once again has problems.
